Thanks to the role of the Federation of the Syrian Chambers
of Commerce to expand and develop the national economy, and

and economic Development the federation made every effort

First of all I would like to introduce myself to our web visitors.
My name is Bashar Nouri, the Secretary General of the Federation
of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce and Damascus Chamber of
Commerce. 
My career in trade started from here, from great Damascus,
and when I thought of import I was visiting the Embassies
and the Commercial Sections to take the mailing address of
the companies to send them our correspondence by postal mail.
This work was taking few weeks to be done. After that we came
to the time of Telex and Fax; whereas today, one touch you
bring the whole world into your hands.
From this significant transformation,
I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to our President
Dr. Bashar Al-Asad who pushed the Informatics forwards and
entered Syria to a new period of Information Technology to
walk equally with IT world.
Also I would like to thank my colleagues in the Federation
of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce and Damascus Chamber of
Commerce headed by Dr. Rateb Shallah for their great efforts
to construct a web site for the Federation of the Syrian Chambers
of Commerce.
